I realize I may be stepping on some toes, but please hear me
out. The upcoming, new from the ground up, GMC Yukon is certain
to be perceived by some as being too much...in size, that is.
With fuel prices at an all time high and consumer sentiment
shifting to smaller vehicles will the GMC Yukon be considered
outdated even before it hits showroom floors in Spring 2006?
Let's take a look at many of the changes planned for the all new
Yukon and then you can decide for yourself.
General Motors has ...

It is a very common occurence. We see then every day. Its like a
disease - yellow, cloudy headlight lenses. I even saw them on
cars at the local carwash. It befuddled me that these people
would take such great care - washing, vacuuming the interior,
removing the floor mats and even hand drying their cars, but
they still had those yellowed, cloudy headlights. Its not just a
problem on old, very used cars. It is prevalent on 2 - 3 year
old cars also. It doesn't matter if it is a Dodge, ...

No? You are not happy about our gas prices? Well, honestly I'm
not either, but the more I thought about it, the more I came to
believe that perhaps our soaring gas prices and dependence on
foreign oil has turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
It seems as though the most effective way to reach consumers is
through our pocketbook. Once more we are outraged at high fuel
prices and demanding something be done about it.
The auto industry has the technology to build fuel efficient
cars, it has ...

Like all of us, cars occasionally get sick as well; thus, they
need to be regularly checked and maintained to keep them in

you to change some of its auto parts, especially if your vehicle
is an older model. Car parts wear out over time so you would
need to upgrade them or replace them with higher quality ...

addition to several winners including the current Mustang for
which demand cannot be met. For the fun of it let's take a look
at some of the Ford models that have been derided down through
the years.
Model T - What?! How can the car that introduced mass
production make the list? Well, the car was fine, but ...

As many Toyota and Jeep owners know, the AW4 / Toyota 340, A340,
and A341E series of transmissions are generally very well made
and demonstrate excellent durability in unmodified applications.
The framework is present for an extremely strong transmission
that is to be used in a high performance or extreme duty
application. The problem is that the original calibration is
engineered for driver comfort rather than ultimate component
strength. The soft, sliding shifts that are part of the ...
