To be fair that's not a lot to test with the Stylus S21 it a basic inkjet printer designed to do everyday printing tasks. The first thing to mention is that unlike most budget inkjet printers from other brands the S21 doesn't cost a fortune to run in terms of printer ink cartridges, genuine Epson S21 ink cartridges are quite expensive compare to the cost of the printer but they are four individual printer cartridges so you only need to change the one colour when it runs out. In terms of printing performance the Stylus S21 set a new standard for budget inkjet printers with its high resolution (5,760 x 1,440 dpi) and four colour ink system. The most impressive feature of the S21 is its ability to print great quality photos, which are far beyond what you would expect from a printer in this price range. The Build quality of the S21 is also very good, its miles ahead then the build quality from budget printer from other brands which all seem to have that 'cheap and nasty' feel and makes them fall apart, the Epson S21 feels as though it will stand the test of time. It compact too measuring just 435 x 219 x 165 which is great for those who don't have such space to spare on their desk. Overall the Stylus S21 surpasses exceptions and sets a new standard for budget inkjet printers.
